Description
Point formed by the steep, flat-topped bluff on the N end of Sevuokuk Mtn. at the narrowest (NW) end of Saint Lawrence Island.
History
In 1849, Captain M. D. Tebenkov, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), published "Mys NW (Northwest)" as the name of this point and showed the Eskimo village of Chibukak on the cape.
