Description
In the Talkeetna Mountains, extends SW 1 mi. from Belanger Pass, 55 mi. NE of Palmer, 95 mi NE of Anchorage.
History
Named in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) because it is composed entirely of bedded rocks folded into a large syncline.
