Mount Marcus Baker is located at head of Knik and Matanuska Glaciers, 47 mi. SE of Palmer, Chugach Mts.

Named in 1924 by A. H. Brooks, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for Marcus Baker, 1849-1903, cartographer with U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
