Description
Two lakes trending NE-SW 1.8 mi between Syncline Mts. and Glenn Higheway, 64 mi. NE of Palmer, and draining into Startup Creek 3.5 mi NE of Tahneta Pass and 105 mi NE of Anchorage, Talkeetna Mts.
History
Local name reported in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), derived from "Startup," an abandoned supply camp for the Albert Creek placers. See Startup Creek.
