Big Bonanza Creek is located flows W to Mulchatna River, 48 mi. NW of Nondalton, Lime Hills; 20 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1914 as Bonanza Creek by R. H. Sargent, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); obtained from Thomas Hanmore, U.S. commissioner at Iliamna. The name was published, however, by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), as Big Bonanza Creek.
