Description
Lake Coville is located at mouth of American Creek, NW of Lake Grosvenor, on Alaska Peninsula, in Katmai National Monument, 37 mi. NW of Mount Katmai, Aleutian Range. 10 miles long.
History
Named by Griggs (1922, p. 307) for Frederick V. Coville, Chairman of the Research Committee of the National Geographic Society.
