Description
Sand Islands is located consists of Krekatok and Neragon Is., extends N-S between Bering Sea and Scammon Bay, Yuukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
History
Named by Dall (1870, p. 263) who wrote "Seven miles off the coast are two long islands, or dry sand-bars, known as the Sandy Islands."
