Description
Luchek Mountain is located on W shore of Moser Bay, on SW coast of Kodiak I., 41 mi. S of Karluk.
History
Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1934 from the "***Eskimo word meaning 'signal' because the summit forms a natural signal for navigation."
