Amik Island is located at mouth of Moser Bay, in Alitak Bay, S end Kodiak I.; 0.4 mile wide.
History
Name derived from an Eskimo word meaning "gate" or "door"; given by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1934.
