Description
Saltery Creek is located flows S to Saltery Cove in Ugak Bay, on E coast of Kodiak I.
History
Local name reported in 1933 by Gerald FitzGerald, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "because for many years a salmon saltery was situated at the mouth of the creek."
