Sud Island is located in Gulf of Alaska, one of Barren Is., 5 mi. SW of Nord I., 67 mi. NE of Afognak, Chugach Mts.
History
Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1908. The name is a French word meaning "south."
