In Gulf of Alakda, northernmost of Barren Is, 1.25 mi NW from the E end of Ushagat Island, 72 mi. NE of Afognak, Chugach Mts.
History
Named in 1908 and published in 1910 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). It is a French word meaning "north."
