History
Translation of the name "Os(trov) Maloy Malinovoy" given by Sub-Lt. Mikhail Murashev, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), in 1839 or 1840, and published by the Russian Hydrographic Dept. in 1849 on chart 1425.
