Description
In Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge, on the NE slope of Koniag Peak and trending N for 2.3 mi, near the center of Kodiak Island, 6 mi NW of the W end of Kiliuda Bay.
History
Named in 1963 by the Kodiak and Aleutian Islands Historical Society Inc. for the Koniag Eskimo, "the oldest inhabitants of Kodiak Island."
