Description
Midway Bay is located extends NW off Sitkalidak Strait, W of Bush Point, on SE coast of Kodiak I.
History
Descriptive name given in 1930 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), "because this bay is about midway of the length of Sitkalidak Strait * * *." The name "Sheep Bay" was suggested in 1928 by a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) field party.
