On N coast of Kodiak Island, at he E entrance of Sharatin Bay, 5.5 mi SE of Whale Island and 12 mi NW of Kodiak.

Translation of the name "M(ys) Trekh Kekurnyy" given by Murashev in 1839 or 1840 and published in 1849 on Russian Hydrographic Dept. Chart 1425.
