Barren Island is located in Dixon Entrance, 8 mi. S of Duke I., Alex. Arch. 1500 feet long.
History
Named "Barren Rock" in 1883 by W. H. Dall; published as "Barren Island" in 1886 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
