Description
Located in Ward Cove, on the southwest coast of Revillagigedo Island, Alexander Archipelago.
History
This feature was named in 1882 by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), for Lieutenant Timothy Dix Bolles; a crew member of Coast Survey steamer Hassler, when this rock was discovered.
