In Kenai National Moose Range, Kenai Mountains, 19 mi NE of the head of Kachemak Bay.
History
Named in 1966 by the Mountaineering Club of Alaska to preserve the native name for the Kenai Mountains. U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Constantin: "Grewingk, 1849, deriving his information from Wosnesenski, 1842, gives the native name of these mountains as Truuli, also written Truuli."
