Description
Excelsior Lake is located on Kenai Peninsula, on E labe of Excelsior Glacier, 26 mi. SE of Seward, Chugach Mts. 2.5 miles long.

Name of a water-filled depression in a glacier; published in 1951 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); Name derived from nearby Excelsior Glacier.
