Description
Rabbit Island is located in Pye Is., E side of Nuka Bay, 46 mi. ESE of Seldovia, Chugach Mts.
History
So named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1927, "because the outline of the island resembles a running rabbit."
