Description
Trail Glacier is located heads 4 mi. SW of head of Spencer Glacier, trends NW to its terminus at head of Trail Creek, 36 mi. NE of Seward, Chugach Mts.
History
Local name reported in 1912 by Grant and Higgins (1913, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Name derived from Trail Creek which drains the glacier.
