Description
Burr Point is located on N coast of Augustine I., 55 mi. SE of Iliamna, Aleutian Range
History
So named in 1914 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) because of the burr-like appearance of the mounds forming the end of the island.
