Description
James Lagoon is located on W shore of East Arm Nuka Bay, Kenai Peninsula, 40 mi. ESE of Homer, Chugach Mts. 0.5 mile wide.
History
Named by U.@S. Grant, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1911, "for Captain James Bettels, of Valdez, a resident of Prince William Sound for the last 20 years."
