Description
Coal Cove is located on N shore of Port Graham, at SW end of Kenai Peninsula, Chugach Mts. 0.5 mile wide.
History
Named "Coal Bay" by Captain Nathaniel Portlock who found coal there July 25, 1786 (H.R. Wagner, 1937, p. 442).
