Description
Cataract Cove is located on W coast of Harris Peninsula, N of Crater Bay, 30 mi. SW of Seward, Chugach Mts. 0.8 mile long.
History
Named by the 1928 U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) field party "for the spectacular cascades (cataracts) falling over 1000 ft. cliffs at north end of cove."
