Description
Bruin Bay is located on E coast of Alaska Peninsula, 20 mi. W of Augustine I., Aleutian Range. 5 miles long.
History
The name "Bear Bay" was reported in 1904, by G. C. Martin, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), but because of duplication, the name was changed in 1906 by Board on Geographic Names (BGN).
