Description
Destroyed by The Glory Hole mine; extended west from Silverbow Basin, 4 km (2.5 mi) east of Juneau, Coast Mountains.
History
Named by Richard Harris in 1880 because, "it contained the most goldbearing quartz I had ever seen in one gulch." (DeArmond, 1957, p35) (AK-T1/p787)
