Description
Groundhog Creek (historical) is located on N slope of Gastineau Peak, flows NW to Icy Gulch, 2.4 mi. E of Juneau, Coast Mts. 0.5 mile long.
History
Local name published by Spencer and Wright (1906, pl. 15), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Apparently this creek has been destroyed by mining operations.
