Description
Exploration Peak is located just E of junction of Matthes and Taku Glaciers, 3.8 mi. SE of Centurian Peak and 28 mi. NE of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Name proposed in 1949 by members of the Juneau Icefield Research Project and published in 1960 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
