Description
Salmon Creek Reservoir is located fed by Salmon Creek, 1 mi. S of Blackerby Ridge and 2.7 mi. N of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
The name was derived from Salmon Creek and was published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1962. Water from this reservoir, built in 1915, supplies electricity to Juneau (DeArmond, 1957, p. 37).
