Description
Windfall Lake is located on Windfall Creek, 2 mi. S of terminus of Herbert Glacier and 18 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Name derived from Windfall Creek, which drains it, and first mentioned in mining records in 1894 (DeArmond, 1957, p. 47-48).
