Point Louisa is located on E shore of Stephens Passage, 0.8 mi. SW of Fairhaven and 12 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Named in 1880 by Captain L. A. Beardslee, U.S. Navy (USN), for the great aunt of Oliver J. Vanderbilt, local miner; published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 174).
