Description
Jaw Point is located on E shore of Taku Inlet, 3 mi. NE of Cooper Point and 12 mi. W of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Named by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), in 1890 and published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 153).
