Description
Mount Wright is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, in Fairweather Range 3.3 mi. NW of Mount Crillon and 80 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
This feature was presumably named for Frederick Eugene Wright or Charles Will Wright (or both), geologists and brothers who worked in SE Alaska for U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) around 1904-1905. There is another Mount Wright 43 mi. E of this feature.
