Description
In Glacier Bay National Monument, flows SE and SW to Gulf of Alaska, 4.5 mi. SE of Harbor Point, 83 mi. NW of Hoonah, Malaspina Coastal Plain.
History
Local name reported by J. B. Mertie (in Smith and others, 1933, p. 118 and fig. 4), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). It was called "Gaskal Creek" by members of the Harvard-Dartmouth Expedition, 1933-34 (Washburn and Goldthwait, 1936, map).
