Description
Barlow Island is located group of 3 small islands, off N end of Mansfield Peninsula, 0.5 mi. NW of Barlow Point and 18 mi. NW of Juneau, Alex. Arch.
History
Described in the 1883 U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Coast Pilot as "small rock islets ***" and also given its present name in the 1883 Coast Pilot. The name is derived from Barlow Cove.
