Description
Patton Glacier is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, on NE slope of Mount Cadell, trends N to its 1947 terminus 1.5 mi. S of the Plateau Glacier, 63 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named by members of the Glacier Bay Expedition of 1941 (Field, 1947, map) for J. L. Patton, one of G. F. Wright's companions on Muir Glacier in 1886.
