On the E entrance to Takanis Bay, on Yakobi Island, off the W coast of Chicahagof Island, 24 mi NW of Chichagof, Alexandria Archepeligo.
History
Tlingit Indian name said to have the same meaning as Takanis [Bay]; named in 1908 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and published in the 1908 Coast Pilot (p.169).
