Description
Cabin Point is located on N shore of Hood Bay, 9 mi. SE of Angoon, on W coast of Admiralty I., Alex. Arch.
History
So named Cabin Point in 1929 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), "because of a cabin at the base of the point." It had been called Village Point by local pilots.
