Zhilo Cove is located at head of Islas Bay, 16 mi. NW of Chichagof, on W coast of Chichagof I., Alex. Arch. 0.4 mile wide.

Russian word from "zhilishche" meaning "house", given in 1928 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
