Description
Forms the NE reach of Holkhm Bay, heads at the terminus of South Sawyer Glacier and trends W, then S 42 mi, 1 mi NE of Harbor Island.
History
Named in 1889 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), for B. F. Tracy, a lawyer and U.S. District Attorney in New York. During the Civil War he served in the Union forces, achieving the rank of Brigadier General.
