Stag Bay is located on Chichagof I., extends NW to Lisianski Strait, 22 mi. N of Chichagof, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1908 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); published in 1908 Coast Pilot (p. 169). it was locally known as "Deer Bay."
