Description
Taylor Bay is located in Glacier Bay National Monument, extends NW from Cross Sound to Brady Glacier, 41 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), "for Mr. C. H. Taylor of Chicago, who visited this locality." The name was published in the 1883 Alaska Coast Pilot (p. 186).
