Description
Pungokepuk Creek is located heads at Pungokepuk Lake, flows SW to Togiak River, 50 mi. NE of Goodnews, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1948 or 1949, by Frank Waskey, local trader and prospector, as "Pangokeput River."
