Description
Wood River is located population 15, at junction of Wood and Nushagak Rivers, 2 mi. NE of Dillingham; Bristol Bay Low.
History
located on site of Eskimo village of "Ah-lek-nug-uk," which was recorded on a 1910 manuscript map by H. C. Fassett, U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF).
