Description
Gorge Creek is located in Denali National Park (formerly Mount Mckinley National Park), flows W to Thorofare River, 3.3 mi. WSW of Eielson Visitor Center, Alaska Range. 5.4 miles long.
History
So named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1931, because the stream flows through "a very deep gorge."
