Description
Chitistone Gorge is located extends 0.9 mile along Chitistone River to Chitistone Falls, 4 mi. SE of Hole-in-the-Wall Glacier and 26 mi. NE of McCarthy, Wrangell Mts.

Name was derived from that of the stream; published in 1951 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
