Young Creek is located heads at glacier, terminus and flows NW to Nizina River, 3 mi. SE of McCarthy, St. Elias Mts.

Named in 1901 by T. G. Gerdine (Moffit, 1914, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for Robert Young, a member of his party.
