Discovery Creek is located flows N to Chitina River, W of Coffee Creek, 32 mi. SE of McCarthy, St. Elias Mts. 4.3 miles long.

Name obtained from prospectors, reported in 1915 by F. H. Moffit, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
